The Podcast
Long-form conversations about brand building, merchant thinking, and what 25 years of business actually teaches you. No scripts, no guests — just honest reflection.
The Format
One person. One camera. No guests — at least not yet. The podcast is a founder talking to the future version of his audience. People who want to hear what business actually sounds like when you strip away the performance.
Each episode picks a single idea and goes deep. Not motivational. Not instructional. Just honest thinking from someone who’s been in the trenches.
Why Audio and Video
Writing is where I shape my thinking. But some lessons are better heard than read. The pauses, the emphasis, the moments where I’m searching for the right word — that’s where authenticity lives.
The podcast is on YouTube because video creates connection that audio alone can’t. You can see when someone means what they’re saying.
What I Talk About
- Why brand positioning is harder than people think
- What running a grocery shop at 19 taught me about human behaviour
- The difference between patience and passivity
- How AI is changing commerce — and what stays the same
- The real cost of building something that lasts
Where It’s Going
The podcast is early. Episode one is live. The goal isn’t to become a “content creator.” The goal is to build an archive of honest business thinking that compounds over time — just like the brands I build.
Many of these ideas start as written pieces: brand positioning, pricing psychology from the grocery shop, patience as a strategy. The podcast gives them a voice.
